The story behind the restaurant
The bar-restaurant opened its doors in the beginning of July 2017. BOM Food and Drinks is a family business, a father and daughter collaboration. For several years, Hubertus Bom, owner of the “Hôtel-Restaurant de la Poste”, had the idea of opening a new establishment in the cellars of the hotel, which would, along the Semois river, offer a splendid view of the city, its castle and its nature.
His daughter, Celina Bom, contributed to the development of the project by introducing the concept of the restaurant and now she has taken on the managing role. With an artistic spirit, she intended to give a trendy and warm setting to the restaurant. The cellars have been transformed into an industrial interior where a combination of raw materials (wood, metal, leather, marble) are used, inspired from the Netherlands. BOM also has a wide terrace with lounges that allow you to enjoy a beautiful view, with a refreshing cocktail.
